Back End Engineer

We are a startup based in Reggio Emilia, Italy that creates disruptive products by combining Robotics and Artificial Intelligence. We are looking for talented innovators in mechatronic, electronic and software to lead the next-gen of food appliances.

  • Responsible for the design and implementation of communication infrastructure, inner layer of application, embedded client and cloud services.

  • Job description
    • Identify the best architectural solutions for application back end
    • Analyze requirements, write code, deploy solutions, resolve issues
    • Design robust APIs to support mobile and embedded clients
    • Setup automatic testing environment for produced code
    • Manage and optimize scalable distributed systems in the cloud
    • Optimize applications for performance and scalability
    • Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to enhance the user experience
    • Document application changes and develop updates.
  • Skills needed
    • Excellent foundation in computer science, algorithms, and web design
    • Experience in writing highly secure applications
    • Experience with core AWS technologies
    • Experience with messaging protocols (MQTT is preferred)
    • Self-motivated and passionate about your work and software programming
    • Great aptitude for teamwork
    • Optimistic, proactive, resilient, self-motivated and focused
    • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Flexible to handle unforeseen events and large workloads
    • Always eager to learn and improve.
  • Qualifications needed
    • Bachelor’s degree in computer programming, computer science, or a related field
    • Advanced experience in software development
    • Advanced experience in relational and non relational database
    • In-depth knowledge of C++ and Go
    • Good knowledge of AWS architecture and developing techniques
    • Good knowledge of version control (Git).
