Liffo and Pollenzo University together to nurture innovation.
Liffo is a Supporting Partner of the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Pollenzo, the first international academic reality entirely dedicated to food culture from a multidisciplinary perspective.
This partnership stems from a shared vision on sustainable innovation in the agrifood sector and allows us to collaborate on research and development projects, with a particular focus on the quality of raw materials, the integrity of production processes and food sustainability.
Being part of the UNISG network also means having a direct channel with a new generation of food professionals, with whom we can activate moments of confrontation and planning, also through educational trips organised by the University.

History and mission.
The uniqueness of its offering attracts students from dozens of different countries, interested in the vision of the project, combining study, practice, and educational trips around the world, which enables them to develop future food systems.
This methodological and educational approach provides students with a global perspective on both past and present food production scenarios, while also allowing them to appreciate the richness of cultural diversity.
The university trains gastronomes, new professionals with interdisciplinary knowledge and skills science, culture, politics, economics, and ecology of food. These individuals strive to develop and promote sustainability and the sovereignty of global food systems, understanding all stages from production to consumption.
The key element of what can be defined as a gastronome is the deep understanding of food as a value and its important role in creating and shaping society.
